Congratulations to Francois Derossi for winning the 2017 Historic F3 1000cc European Trophy in his Chevron B17. Francois has been a front runner all season but in at Zandvoort on September 3^rd he tangled with a back marker and looked like being a non-starter at the final two rounds of the Championship at Val de Vienne on 30^th September and 1^st October. There was significant damage to the front left hand corner of his car but the team at Chevron Heritage fabricated a number of new parts and even had time to get them plated in time for Francois to race his rebuilt car.

His 1^st and 2^nd places in the Val de Vienne races were enough to win the Championship by a single point. Well done Francois and well done to the Chevron Heritage fabricators who got him to the grid after his Zandvoort accident.
